Favorite Holiday....
I would have to say mine is my birthday. I know a little self absorbed....but I do have a reason why. It was the one day a year my parents went out of their way to make it JUST for ME. A special cake, a special meal...always my favorite...noodles and my Mom's homemade sauce....the cake...angel food..with whipped cream and strawberries decorating the cake. It was a meal from heaven.
Each year I still feel like a "princess" if you will...on my special day. I LOVE June 29th. I have countdowns in my head for it.. LOL. Now that I am an adult nothing happens on that day...but I still have such a great feeling in my heart and mind about that day.
So there you have it...
MY favorite holiday.
